The abbey of Saint-Jean-Baptiste du Moncel, located in Pontpoint, north of the Halatte forest in the department of Oise, in the region of Hauts-de-France, was an abbey of Clare nuns was founded by Philip the Fair, in 1309. It was established on land confiscated by Philip the Fair from Philippe de Beaumanoir, jurisconsult and bailiff of Senlis. The abbey is now attached to the parish of Sainte-Maxence de Pont-Sainte-Maxence.
