Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established on 8 February 1991 during the birth centenary year of B. R. Ambedkar. It is sponsored by central Government to cater to the needs of higher education in trans-Yamuna area of Delhi. It is a co-educational institution. The college launched four professional courses in the university, namely, BA Business Economics, BA Social Work, BA Hindi Journalism and Mass Communication, and BA Applied Psychology. The prominent academic programs include B.Com & B.Com, B.A. Geography, B.A. History and B.A.. ()
