When Is the Best Time To Visit Jordan?
The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Jordan depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.
Climate of Jordan
Several climate types can be distinguished in Jordan. Subtropical-Mediterranean in the northern and western parts of the country, where summers are dry and warm and winters are mild and relatively wet. In the central part of the country, the climate changes to subtropical-continental shifting to an extremely dry, desert variety in the south and east. It is very dry and hot there in summer, with temperatures rising above 40°C, and winters are cold and frosts can occur. Sand and dust storms are also common.
The Dead Sea coast has a slightly different climate, where, due to its geographic location (the lowest depression in the world) and extremely high salinity, the weather is pleasant all year round.
