EcoMare, Duinen van Texel National Park

Ecomare is the center for wadden and North Sea on the North Holland Wadden Island of Texel. It combines shelter of seals and birds with a nature museum and sea aquarium. Fifteen seals are taken in permanently. Due to the versatility of the center, visitors at Ecomare get a comprehensive picture of the nature of the wadden and North Sea. In addition, Ecomare organizes active outdoor programs and excursions for schools and tourists in the nature of Texel, along the beach and on the tidal flats.
