Open'er Festival

The Open'er Festival is one of Poland's premier music festivals, set against the picturesque backdrop of Gdynia's northern coast. Recognized as one of the largest annual music gatherings in the country, the festival boasts a rich history dating back to its inception in Warsaw in 2002, when it was originally known as the Open Air Festival. After relocating to Gdynia, the festival has grown in both popularity and prestige, earning the "Best Major Festival" award at the European Festival Awards in 2009, 2010, and 2019.

In 2018, the festival ran from July 4th to July 7th, drawing massive crowds with its impressive lineup. Over the years, Open'er has hosted an array of illustrious artists, including Bruno Mars, Depeche Mode, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, and Foo Fighters, to mention just a few.

Since 2006, the festival has been held at Kosakowo Airport in Gdynia. Organized by the concert agency Alter Art, it features multiple stages such as the Orange Main, Alter, Beat, Firestone, and Tent stages. Additionally, several smaller stages sponsored by various brands contribute to the festival's diverse musical atmosphere.

One of Open'er's standout features is the Silent Disco Area, where attendees can dance to music on wireless headphones. Moreover, the Gdynia Open Stage offers free seaside performances, making the festival accessible to everyone and enhancing its appeal.
