Kalacka Kopa, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Kalacka Kopa - a peak on the eastern ridge of Długie Giewont in the Polish Tatra Mountains. It is a small mound in the ridge, but it is of topographic importance because the ridge splits in it into two ridges; in the southeast direction falls the ridge topped with Kalacka Turnia, in the northeast direction stretches the White Ridge connecting Giewont with Mały Krokiew in the massif of Krokwi. Between these ridges there is Kalackie Koryto ridge descending to Kalatówki.
Just on the west side of the Kalacka Kopa in the ridge of the Giewont there is the Wrótka pass to which the Kalacka Kopa falls down with the wall of the height of several meters. Also on the south side to the Kondratowa Valley from the top of the Kalacka Kopa descend steep walls, at the foot of the grassy scree. On the north slopes of the Kalacká Kopa descend to the Vrótka Gully.
