Most Maślicki, Wrocław
Facts and practical information
Maślicki Bridge - a bridge over the Ślęza River built in Wrocław after World War II to replace the previous one destroyed during wartime.
The first records of the crossing in this place date back to the 12th century. In 1896 a steel bridge was built here using the Schwedler system with lattice spans with an upper parabolic chord, supported on massive abutments. It was destroyed during the siege of the city in 1945.
After the end of World War II, a provisional two-span wooden bridge with steel girders was in operation. In 1970 it was replaced by a three-span beam bridge, whose load-bearing structure was made of typical prefabricated post-tensioned concrete beams.
Four public transportation bus routes cross the bridge: 101, 102, 103, 104.
