Fort VII - Cybulice, Kampinos National Park
Facts and practical information
Fort VII - one of the forts of the Modlin Fortress, built as part of the construction of the first ring of forts in the 1880s, later modernized.
The fort is located in the forest near Cybulice Małe. As a result of subsequent modernizations it became one of the most modern objects of the fortress. However, the planned armour was not installed on it, apart from one observation dome, which was destroyed in 2004. The fort had a neck barracks, two inter-field traditors, an escarpment caponier, a berth at the junction of the forehead and shoulder, a neck caponier and emergency shelters on the rampart. The buildings were connected by a system of poterns.
