Municipal Zoological Garden in Plock - a zoo established on 1 May 1951 in Plock, on an area of 17 ha. Situated on a high Vistula escarpment, it is a public recreation and leisure area for the inhabitants of the city.
In 2007 there were about 3700 animals representing over 320 species. For several years the zoo in Plock has been undergoing construction and renovation works aimed at beautification of the garden. Apart from the animals there is also a mini-arboretum.
The head of the Plock zoo was Tadeusz Taworski. From 1997 to 2014 the director was Aleksander Niweliński. The current director is Krzysztof Kelman.
