Senegal flapshell turtle

The Senegal flapshell turtle, an intriguing species of softshell turtle from the genus Cyclanorbis in the Trionychidae family, inhabits diverse regions across several African countries. These turtles are found in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, and Togo.
