Jamborowy Wierch, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Jamborowo Wierch or Jamburów Czuba-a poorly separated tip in the southwestern ridge of the Bobrowiec Massif in the Western Tatras, between the Bobrowiec peak and the outstanding Bobrowiecka Pass. Jambor Wierch culminates at the site of the collapse of this ridge. From the eastern Polish side, his slopes fall to the Chochołowska Valley. In the northwestern direction, the side ridge of Jambora leaves him through a yambora to Jeżowy Wierch. This ridge separates the Bobrowiecka Valley from the Juranian Valley.
Built of limestone and dolomites, Jambor Wierch is rocky-thread, in places overgrowing with a scythe. It is a habitat for the very rich flora of limestone Tatra plants. In the past, the whole area was grazed, it was part of Hala Chochołowska. Until June 2008, he led through a tourist trail from the Bobrowiecka Pass through Bobrowiec and Jurania Pass to the dead pass. It was closed by Tanap in June 2008, which was motivated by the need to protect nature.
