Facts About Olive-brown oriole
The olive-brown oriole, also known as the Sunda oriole, is a captivating bird from the Oriolidae family. This species can be found in the Lesser Sundas region, thriving in subtropical or tropical dry forests, and mangrove forests.
Regarding its classification, the olive-brown oriole is divided into two subspecies. The first is the Wetar oriole (O. m. finschi), which was once regarded as a distinct species and is found on Wetar and Atauro Islands. The second is the Timor oriole (O. m. melanotis), which was also initially considered a separate species and inhabits Timor, Rote, and Semau Islands.
