Zvěstování Panny Marie, Brno

The Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary is a parish church of the Roman Catholic parish in Brno-Turany, standing on an ancient Marian pilgrimage site. From the point of view of monument protection, the church is an immovable cultural monument. The church is located on the eastern side of Hanácká Street in the centre of the Tuřany district of Brno and is a distinctive landmark.

Above the main entrance to the church there is a statue of St. Anne, above it a mosaic of the Tuřany Mother of God, on the sides of the entrance there are statues of St. Sebastian and St. Wenceslas, by the staircase there is a statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1728 and a stone cross from 1811. The interior of the church is dominated by a 13th-century woodcarving of the Virgin Mary accompanied by angels on the main altar and statues of Saints Cyril and Methodius next to the altar.
