Rezerwat Skarpa Oborska
Facts and practical information
Nature reserve Skarpa Oborska - a forest nature reserve located entirely in the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna between the Konstancin spa and the village of Słomczyn. It is part of the Chojnowski Landscape Park.
It was established by the Order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 3 December 1981 on the area of 15.65 ha. At present, it covers an area of 16.9786 ha.
The reserve was established to protect the richly sculptured slope of the Vistula pre-valley, overgrown with multi-species deciduous forest, which has not been significantly transformed by human activity.
At the edge of the forest is a circular cemetery of German and Russian soldiers from World War I.
Olszyna Łyczyńska, Łęgi Oborskie and Obory reserves are located in close proximity to Skarpa Oborska reserve.
