Spadowa Kopa
Facts and practical information
Fate Kopa - a peak in the northern ridge of Rysy in the High Tatras. It is the northernmost culmination of the massif of Niżnich Rysy, towering directly over a heavy switch. From the south he is adjacent to the northern vertex of Niżni Rysy. This is an extreme Turnia in Niżni Rysy. There is a slope of Przehyba falling between the Turnia and the fall. The name of the peak and the switch comes from the fall valley.
The fall kick is located on the Polish-Slovak border. It has an almost horizontal and narrow ridge with a length of about 80 m. East, a wall of about 120 m high, to the west, to the West, a great pillar with a height of about 500 m high. His left, the limitation creates a mountain. Fallen gully, and from his mouth - Wyżnia Białczański Żleb. From the right side, there is no clear border between the fall of Kopa and the low -scratches - hence it is included in their massif. Only below the western Kopa's western wall is the left depression with the left boiler, which separate the lower part of the fall kopy from the massif of the Low Rysy. The belonging of the fall kopy to the massif of the Low Rysy is only a contractual, topographic assumption, in practice mountaineers treat it as a separate peak. For several dozen years, they have been climbing almost exclusively on the frontal wall of its western pillar, as Władysław Cywiński writes or thinking about entering Niżno Rysy, they rarely also reach the top of the fall kopa. Climbing on this wall has become so popular that the mountaineers gave it a separate name top of the fall kopa. The cliffs of the fall kopy are lower than the walls of the lower features, but more difficult than them.
The first entrance recorded - Stanisław Porębski on August 13, 1909.
