Facts and practical information
Wielkie Solisko, Solisko - a peak in the Slovak High Tatras with a height of 2414 m. This is the highest culmination in Solisko, separating the Młynicka Valley from the Furkotna valley and departing from the so -called The main ridge of the branch of the cropping at the peak of Furkot. The great Solisko rises in this ridge between the extreme Soliskowa Kopa, from which they are separated by an extreme solisa Karb, and an intermediate solis, from which they are separated by the Soliskowa bench.
The western wall of the Great Solisko is about 200 meters high and falls towards the Wymy Wielki Furkotny Staw. The eastern wall measures about 300 meters, is extensive, not very steep, consisting of ribs and gully. Together with the eastern walls of the yellow Soliskowa bench and intermediate Solisk, it forms a common complex falling to the Młicicka Valley.
At the top of the Great Solisko there is a large, two -meter height of a fungal -shaped rock block. Earlier measurements determined the height of the top at 2404, 2412, 2413 or 2414 meters.
