St. Martin's Church in Chur is the largest late Gothic structure in Graubünden and the largest Protestant Reformed church building in the canton. With its late Gothic spire, it is the landmark of the old town. It is dedicated to Martin of Tours. The relatively frequent occurrence of St. Martin's churches in Graubünden is related to the fact that Rhaetia came under the influence of the Merovingians and Carolingians after 526.
