Llyn Idwal is a small lake that lies within Cwm Idwal in the Glyderau mountains of Snowdonia. It is named after Prince Idwal Foel, a grandson of Rhodri Mawr, one of the ancient Kings of Wales.
Glaslyn
Glaslyn is a lake in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It is found at approximately 600 metres above sea level in a cwm on the eastern flanks of Snowdon. It is a rough ellipse in shape, about 500 metres east–west and about 300 metres north–south, and the Miners' Track runs along the northern shore.
Llynnau Mymbyr
Llynnau Mymbyr are two lakes located in Dyffryn Mymbyr, a valley running from the village of Capel Curig to the Pen-y-Gwryd hotel in Snowdonia, north-west Wales. The A4086 runs along their northern banks.
Llyn Llydaw
Llyn Llydaw is a natural lake in Snowdonia National Park on the flanks of Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain. This long thin lake has formed in a cwm about one-third of the way up the mountain. It is one of the most visited lakes in the United Kingdom.

Coedty Reservoir
Coedty Reservoir is a reservoir in Snowdonia, North Wales. It is fed by the waters of Afon Porth-llwyd which flows from Llyn Eigiau. The reservoir lies at a height of 900 feet, and measures some 12 acres in size. It contains brown trout.
Llyn Glangors
Llyn Glangors is a lake in the Gwydir Forest in north Wales. It lies at a height of 900 ft and covers an area of 15 acres. An artificial reservoir, it was created to supply water for the nearby Pandora lead mine.
Llyn Cwm-y-ffynnon
Llyn Cwm-y-ffynnon is a lake in Snowdonia, below the summit of Moel Berfedd in Cwmffynnon. The lake's original name was Fynnon Mymbyr as outlined in Llywelyn ap Iorwerth's charter of 1198. As the name suggests, the lake nestles in a short valley, a cwm, high above the Pen-y-Gwryd hotel.
Llyn Dulyn
Llyn Dulyn is a lake on the edge of the Carneddau range of mountains in Snowdonia, North Wales. The lake is 33 acres in extent and 189 feet deep. Less than a kilometre to its south lies the smaller Llyn Melynllyn.
Llyn Arenig Fawr
Llyn Arenig Fawr is a lake and reservoir located near the summit of Arenig Fawr, a mountain in North Wales. The lake's primary purpose is to supply water to the nearby town of Bala and the numerous small villages in the surrounding area.

Llyn Eigiau is a lake on the edge of the Carneddau range of mountains in Snowdonia, Conwy, Wales. The name Eigiau is thought to refer to the shoals of fish which once lived here. Early maps refer to it as Llynyga.
Tal-y-llyn Lake
Tal-y-llyn Lake, also known as Talyllyn Lake and Llyn Myngul, is a large glacial ribbon lake in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is formed by a post-glacial massive landslip damming up the lake within the glaciated valley. The hamlet of Talyllyn lies at the west end of the lake.

Llyn Bodgynydd is a lake in the Gwydir Forest in North Wales. It covers an area of some 14 acres, and lies at a height of 822 feet a.s.l.

Llyn Park is a lake in the Gwydir Forest in North Wales. Lying at a height of 664 feet, it covers an area of 22 acres, and is long and narrow in shape.

Llyn Cwm Bychan is a lake in north Wales, and is one of the sources of the River Artro which flows south westwards through Llanbedr and onwards to the sea. It is located in the Rhinogydd mountains of Snowdonia.

Llyn-y-Foel is a lake in Snowdonia, Wales. It is approximately 240 m across, 120 m wide and up to 2 m deep. It lies at 535m altitude at the foot of the main ridge of Moel Siabod at grid reference SH 714 547.
Llyn Dinas
Llyn Dinas is a lake near Beddgelert, Gwynedd in north Wales. It is formed by the River Glaslyn. Llyn Dinas lies on the valley floor a few miles north of Beddgelert at an altitude of about 55 metres above sea level.
Llyn Conwy
Llyn Conwy is a lake in the county of Conwy in central north Wales. It is the source of the River Conwy which, on flowing south out of the lake, swings round to then generally flow in a northerly direction for a distance of some 27 miles to its discharge in Conwy Bay.
Llyn Gwynant
Llyn Gwynant is a lake in Snowdonia, Wales. Llyn Gwynant lies on the River Glaslyn, in the Nant Gwynant valley, and is about 1¼ miles north east of Llyn Dinas; the village of Bethania lies between them. Snowdon lies 2 miles to the north west.
Llyn Cowlyd
Llyn Cowlyd is the deepest lake in northern Wales. It lies in the Snowdonia National Park at the upper end of Cwm Cowlyd on the south-eastern edge of the Carneddau range of mountains, at a height of 1,164 feet above sea level.
Marchlyn Mawr
Marchlyn Mawr reservoir is a high level lake in Snowdonia behind Elidir Fawr mountain. It is used as the high level water source for Dinorwig power station, a closed-loop pumped storage hydroelectric generating facility.
Llyn Mair
Llyn Mair is a 14-acre artificial lake near Maentwrog, in Gwynedd in North Wales. It lies in the area of Tan-y-Bwlch, a little above Plas Tan-y-Bwlch, and is in the catchment area of the River Dwyryd.

Ffynnon Llugwy is a lake in the Carneddau range of mountains in Snowdonia, North Wales. It lies at a height of about 1,786 feet and covers an area of some 40 acres. It has a maximum depth of 146 ft.
