Kavarna Rock Fest

The Kavarna Rock Fest, originally known as the Kaliakra Rock Fest until 2010, was an exhilarating annual rock festival held at the Kavarna Stadium in Kavarna, Bulgaria. Over the years, it brought together some of the most illustrious names in rock music, creating unforgettable experiences for fans.

- 2006: The festival kicked off with a bang, featuring legendary bands like Testament, Helloween, and Twisted Sister.

- 2007: This year's edition spanned three days and showcased electrifying performances by Heaven and Hell, Motörhead, and Manowar, who delighted fans by singing the Bulgarian national anthem in Bulgarian.

- 2008: The lineup included Holy Hell, Manowar, Alice Cooper, Slayer, and In Flames. Manowar set a record with a marathon concert that lasted five hours!

- 2009: Iconic bands like Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, and Dream Theater took the stage, enthralling the audience with their iconic hits.

- 2010: The festival was rebranded as Kavarna Rock Fest and featured acts such as Tarja, Destruction, Kreator, Accept, and Primal Fear.

- 2011-2016: These years saw a diverse range of performances from bands like Opeth, Arch Enemy, Deep Purple, Europe, Twisted Sister, and Avantasia, keeping the rock spirit alive and vibrant.

Organized by the municipality of Kavarna and Loud Concerts, the Kavarna Rock Fest became a magnet for both local and international rock enthusiasts. Each year, it showcased a rich mix of rock and metal acts, cementing its place as a cornerstone of the Bulgarian music scene.
