Rosenhöhe Park is a historic park on a hill in the east of Darmstadt. Its special features include a rosarium with rose dome on the hilltop and the mausoleums and tombs of the Hessian princely house. On the edge of the park there are also the buildings of the New Artists' Colony Rosenhöhe.
Together with Mathildenhöhe, the Art Nouveau houses and the Wedding Tower, Rosenhöhe forms a unique ensemble. Today, the park serves as a local recreation area and is also a popular destination for rose lovers. In addition to the multitude of roses, you will also find extensive meadows, orchards, redwood trees and other rare tree species.
The entire Rosenhöhe Park is a listed monument and is also a protected cultural asset under the Hague Convention.
