Facts and practical information
The Hindenburg Bridge was a railroad bridge over the Moselle between Wasserliesch and Igel. Officially it did not bear a name, but soon after its commissioning the vernacular had named it after Field Marshal General and later Reich President Paul von Hindenburg. Commissioned in 1912, the bridge was almost certainly blown up by the Wehrmacht towards the end of World War II and was not rebuilt afterwards.
