Facts and practical information
The Mennokate - also Menno-Kate - is a croft near Bad Oldesloe, which commemorates the Anabaptist reformer Menno Simons, who spent the last years of his life in the nearby estate village of Wüstenfelde. The thatched-roof house and the linden tree in front of it are listed as historical monuments. The lime tree is said to have been planted by Simons himself.
