Gedenkstätte Platz der Synagoge, Norden

The Jewish community in Norden existed over a period of about 450 years from its beginnings in the 16th century until its end in October 1940. The Norden community also included the Jews on Norderney, who operated their own synagogue from 1878, but continued to bury their dead in the Jewish cemetery in Norden.
