Villa Moser, Stuttgart
Facts and practical information
Villa Moser was a country villa in Stuttgart, built in 1875 by Johann Wendelin Braunwald for the chocolate manufacturer Eduard Otto Moser in the park of Leibfried's Garden. In 1944, the villa was destroyed down to the foundation walls during an air raid.
For the 1993 International Horticultural Exhibition, architect Hans Dieter Schaal designed the Villa Moser Art Station, which makes the remains of the villa and its overgrown park accessible to the public through walkways.
Note: After the later owner Karl Ernst Leibfried, the villa is also called Villa Moser-Leibfried or Villa Leibfried. Numbers in brackets, e.g. indicate the corresponding numbers in Plan 1 or Plan 2.
