The Kapellenberg northwest of Hofheim in the Hessian Main-Taunus district is a 292 m above sea level high ridge of exposed and dominant position on the southern edge of the Taunus into the Maine plain. On its summit stands the Meisterturm, an observation tower, and on its southern slope a chapel. From here, one has a wide view over the Maine plain.
