Johann Georg Oegg was an Austrian prince-bishop's court locksmith and art blacksmith who worked in Vienna and in Würzburg. Among other things, he created garden gates for Prince Eugene's Belvedere Palace in Vienna and Hof Palace, and gates for the cour d'honneur of the Würzburg Residence and its adjacent courtyard garden on behalf of three or four prince-bishops of Würzburg.
