The Kunstverein Coburg e.V. is a non-profit and registered association based in Coburg, which is dedicated to the mediation of contemporary art and sees itself as a forum for young artists. It was founded in 1981 as a result of the merger of the Kunst- und Gewerbeverein Coburg, founded in 1824, and the Coburger Kunstverein. The association is one of the oldest art associations in Germany and, with around 1700 members, is the largest art association in Bavaria.
