Baldern Castle, also called Hohenbaldern Castle, is located on an isolated hilltop northwest of the town of Bopfingen, which fronts the eaves of the eastern Swabian Alb almost five kilometers to the north. The castle is owned by the princely house of Oettingen-Wallerstein; it now houses one of the largest private collections of weapons in Germany.
