The Hinterburg, also called Alt-Schadeck, is the ruin of a spur castle at 165 m above sea level near Neckarsteinach in the Bergstrasse district in Hesse. It is the oldest of the four castles Vorderburg, Mittelburg, Hinterburg and Schwalbennest and the ancestral castle of the Edelfreien von Steinach.
