Castle in Lübbenau - a castle located in Lübbenau/Spreewald, in Brandenburg.
Classicist-style castle was erected by the Graf Rochus zu Lin. a Danish diplomat, after the Napoleonic wars, on the site of earlier embankments, which were the remains of the original defensive assumption, derived from Slavic times, and rebuilt in 1301. For nationalization in 1945, many nearby goods belonged to the Linon family. After the fall of the GDR, the family regained the building and currently a hotel operates here.
In addition to the castle, the establishment consists of a vast park with a pond, conservatory and other economic buildings. In one of the baroque buildings there is a Spreewaldmuseum with a regional exhibition. A cucumber trail runs next to the castle.
