Facts and practical information
Ludwigskirche in Neuburg, a district of Freiburg im Breisgau, is the house of worship of the Lutheran Ludwig congregation. Located on Starkenstrasse, Ludwigskirche is immediately adjacent to the Old Cemetery and is named after Grand Duke Ludwig I, who had the old Ludwigskirche built, which was destroyed by bombs in 1944 and was located on what is now Habsburgerstrasse/corner of Rheinstrasse. The district Neuburg is often wrongly assigned to Herdern, as the term Neuburg is not very well established in the population.
