Islamic Centre Hamburg
The Islamic Centre Hamburg is one of the oldest mosques in Germany and Europe and is abbreviated IZH. Established in Hamburg, in northern Germany, in the late 1950s by a group of Iranian emigrants and business people.
Fazl-e-Omar Mosque
The Fazl-e-Omar Mosque in Hamburg is the second purpose-built mosque in Germany. The mosque is named after the Second Caliph Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad and is located at the street of Wieckstraße in Eimsbüttel, Hamburg.
100-Mosques-Plan
The 100-Mosques-Plan is the project of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Germany to built 100 new mosques. It was initiated by Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the Khalifatul Masih IV, during the centenary celebrations of the community in 1989.
Al-Quds Mosque Hamburg
Al-Quds Mosque Hamburg was a mosque in Hamburg, Germany between 1993 and 2010 when it was shut down by German security officials. The mosque is known for preaching a radical form of Sunni Islam.
