Facts and practical information

Haustierhof Reutemühle is a farm with a public zoo in Überlingen-Bambergen. In the zoo, which was opened in 1994, about 180 different animal species can be visited.

The family-run Reutemühle pet farm claims to be Germany's most biodiverse farm and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest collection of extinct breeds. The species kept there are essentially farm animals such as horses, goats, sheep, chicken birds or pigs, but some more exotic animals have also been added over the years, so that today you can also see camels, otters, coatis, marmosets, skunks, squirrels, maras, wallabies, beaver rats or meerkats.
