Trammplatz is a town hall forecourt between Hannover's New Town Hall and Friedrichswall. Designed as a gathering and event square, the area is named after Hannover's city director Heinrich Tramm. Art objects of the 20th century are presented at the square. On its western side is the entrance to the cubist-style building of the August Kestner Museum.
