Grona Palace was a royal palace on the territory of the present-day city of Göttingen and one of the roots of the present-day district of Grone, but is located in the neighboring district of Weststadt. It was first mentioned in documents in 915 as Grona Castle, is the place of death of Emperor Henry II, and was completely demolished by the citizens of Göttingen in 1387.
