Built around the year 990, the early Romanesque church of St. Cyriak in Sulzburg is one of the oldest churches in Germany, dating back more than 1000 years. It was first a collegiate and proprietary church and from 1008 until the Reformation a monastery church of the Benedictine nuns in Sulzburg and is today the parish church of the Protestant community in Sulzburg.
