Haus Nachrodt
Facts and practical information
Haus Nachrodt is a noble estate in the municipality of Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde in the Märkischer Kreis district, North Rhine-Westphalia. The estate was first mentioned in 1591. The classicist manor house, two outbuildings, a massive farmhouse and a half-timbered house in the style of a Westphalian farmhouse probably date back to the period between the 18th and 19th centuries. The park with old trees is considered worth seeing and extends to the banks of the Lenne.
In 1907 the house Nachrodt was the new name giver for the municipality Kelleramt located in the Lenne valley. Together with Wiblingwerde the new municipality Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde was created.
Haus Nachrodt and the park are privately owned.
