Facts and practical information
The Church of St. James is the church of the Protestant parish of Breckerfeld, a small town in the Ruhr region. It has been preserved almost entirely in its late medieval state, with the exception of the tower, which was built in 1923, and still bears witness to Breckerfeld's importance at the end of the Middle Ages.
Since 1985, the building - like the neighboring Catholic Church of St. James - has been entered in Breckerfeld's list of historical monuments.
