Wolgast Zoo is a zoological garden located in the city of Wolgast in the northeastern part of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In addition to its regional importance as a home animal park, the park is gaining popularity among visitors from the Republic of Poland due to the location of the city of Wolgast in close proximity to the German-Polish border. The zoo is located on the northern edge of Wolgast in the residential area Tannenkamp on a forest area of about ten hectares. About 400 animals of 52 species can be seen. Among the latest major additions are kangaroos and emus, which are kept in a common enclosure. The park also has a nature trail and a petting enclosure.
