Elisabethenkirche, Stuttgart
Facts and practical information
The Catholic parish of St. Elisabeth in the west of Stuttgart in the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart is the largest Catholic parish in Stuttgart with about 9,500 members.
For a long time, it was by far the largest parish in the entire diocese, with up to 14,500 Catholics, and is still one of the largest parishes in the diocese, despite the spin-off of new parishes from the old parish area and inner-city migration. Approximately 13,000 Catholic Christians now belong to the pastoral unit that St. Elisabeth forms together with its former branch St. Clemens in Stuttgart-Botnang.
