Albert Bocklage is a German painter and sculptor.
Albert Bocklage studied painting and glass painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and in Krefeld from 1959 to 1964. Since completing his studies, he has worked as a freelance artist; from 1972 to 1989 he taught art at the Gymnasium Lohne. His studio is located in the east of Vechta.
A main focus of Albert Bocklage's work is the design of sacred spaces. Until 2012, he has created or renovated windows in more than 50 churches, chapels, etc. throughout northwestern Germany. He has also designed altars and other sacred objects. In addition, Albert Bocklage has created a variety of sculptures, mainly in bronze, and made paintings, mostly with acrylic paints.
