Facts and practical information

The dinosaur tracks of Barkhausen are a natural monument in a disused quarry in the Linner Berg near Barkhausen on the Hunte, a district of the Lower Saxon municipality of Bad Essen in the district of Osnabrück.

Fossil tracks of sauropod and theropod dinosaurs from the Late Upper Jurassic are exposed on the stratified surfaces of the rock, which is about 150 million years old.
