Tierpark Ueckermünde, Ueckermünde

Ueckermünde Zoo is a zoological garden in the town of Ueckermünde in the eastern part of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Due to Ueckermünde's proximity to the German-Polish border, the zoo is also popular with visitors from the Republic of Poland, accounting for about ten percent of the total number of over 100,000 visitors per year. The zoo has responded to this demand by providing informational materials, an information phone and signage in Polish.
