Municipal Park - City Park in Nuremberg founded 1759 in place of a park called Judenbühl, from the anti -Jewish pogrom of 1349, which took place here. In 1787, Jean-Pierre Blanchard organized a balloon flight here. From 1856 the park was rebuilt in the English style. It was recreated after war damage from 1958. In 1962, the Baroque Fountain of Neptune was moved here, which originally stood on the market.
