The Jan Wellem Monument in the Düsseldorf City Hall was completed by sculptor Gabriel de Grupello after 1697/before 1708. The marble statue depicts Johann Wilhelm of Palatinate-Neuburg, called Jan Wellem by the Düsseldorfers who spoke Low Franconian at the time, Elector of the Palatinate and Duke of Jülich-Berg.
