Facts and practical information
The water tower is a listed building in Nauen, a town in the Havelland district of the German state of Brandenburg.
The tower, about 40 meters high, was built in 1898 and served as a water supply for the city. In 1978, electric pumps replaced its task and the tower stood empty. In 2002, a private investor bought the building for 58,000 euros and renovated it in 2004 and 2005. Two residential units with a floor space of 368 m² were created in the head, which can be reached via an elevator and a spiral staircase.
The object was awarded the monument of the month in 2007.
