The MehlWelten Museum on the Amtsberg in Wittenburg is a cultural and historical collection of flour sacks. With about 3100 exhibits from 130 countries, it is considered the most extensive of its kind. The permanent exhibition was conceived by the cultural scientist and curator of the museum, Angela Jannelli, as a world of experience on the theme of flour, with exhibits recorded and interpreted according to their symbolism. In 2010, the Flour art award 2010 competition was announced to award the entrant of the 2010th flour sack.
