Facts and practical information
The Lion Poodle is a statue in front of St. Peter's Cathedral in the Lower Saxony city of Osnabrück. It shows a lion sitting on a larger-than-man-sized pedestal, which resembles a poodle. Badly damaged by weathering, a replica has stood on the pedestal since 1929, created by sculptor Lukas Memken. The earlier stone is in the city's Museum of Cultural History, although this too was probably not the original.
