Facts and practical information
The Bismarck Column of Kirn an der Nahe in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland-Palatinate was built in honor of the first German Chancellor Prince Otto von Bismarck. Designed by architect Wilhelm Kreis, the tower stands on the Gauskopf south of Kirn, has a height of twelve meters and was inaugurated in 1901.
