Facts and practical information

The Neuhaus Wildlife Park is a wildlife park located in the middle of the Solling-Vogler Nature Park near Neuhaus in Solling in southern Lower Saxony.

The 50-hectare wildlife park is part of the low mountain landscape in the Solling region, which is characterized by mixed forests, meadows and streams, and shows typical regional animals in their natural habitat. The park, which is located on a wooded slope of the Solling, is surrounded by a listed wall. The game park borders on an oak avenue as well as a horse pasture, whose history goes back to the 16th century. Today, the game park serves especially for environmental education by means of various facilities such as open-air enclosures and a forest museum. The game park is run by the Niedersächsische Landesforsten, an institution under public law.
